Bro. Carl Simon - Spring 23 Initiate

Bro. Carl Simon is a Fall 2025 graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. Initiated in Spring 2023 into the Eta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he has become a dedicated leader focused on growth, service, and student development. He has completed competitive internships with Apple and NASA, strengthening his skills in mechanical systems, software engineering, and data-driven problem-solving. He also served as the Programs Chair for the National Society of Black Engineers within one of the largest chapters in the nation, where he secured company sponsorships and expanded full-time and internship opportunities for students.

Within the Eta Gamma Chapter, Bro. Simon has continued to elevate the standard of brotherhood and service. He has spearheaded programs centered on student development, personal growth, and community uplift, with a strong emphasis on public speaking, mentorship, and leadership readiness. His commitment to guiding younger students, along with his peers, reflects his belief in “lifting as we climb” and helping others discover their confidence, voice, and potential. In addition to his campus leadership, Bro. Simon has led and contributed to numerous engineering and technical projects, including robotics systems, automation designs, and software-driven solutions that address real-world challenges. His work reflects a passion for innovation paired with a deep commitment to community impact.

A quote he lives by is: “Well done is better than well said.”

We will fight until hell freezes over, then we will fight on the ice
